Candidate Privacy Notice

As part of our application process Norton Way Group will collect, process and store personal information about you. 

In the course of arranging your application we will need to process personal information about you. Information is only processed where necessary for the purpose of processing your application or as required by law.

Personal information 

All information collected as part of the application process is captured in order to process your application. Some information we capture will be of a sensitive nature (e.g. disability information). This is collected in order to allow us to make reasonable adjustments for interview including psychometric testing.

Sharing of personal information

Your personal information will be shared internally with the individuals involved with processing your application, in order for each individual to perform their part of the process.

Protecting your information

Our internal recruitment systems are protected to ensure your information is kept secure and only shared with those necessary to process and progress your application. 

Criminal records checks

The nature of our business dictates that employees may handle money and have access to personal information, as a result we have regulatory obligations to ensure that those individuals are responsible and trustworthy. Given this we therefore ask questions relating to criminal convictions and may (with express consent) conduct criminal record checks. 

Data retention

In the event that your application is unsuccessful your details will be kept for a period of 6 months, after which time they will be destroyed.

If you have registered to join our talent pool, your details will be retained for a period of 6 months after which time you will be contacted to ascertain if you would like to remain in the talent pool. 

You have the right to request the removal of your details at any time.
