Established in 1989 Norton Way Motors is a family run company representing Honda, Mazda, Peugeot, Nissan, Skoda and Kia with dealerships in West London and Hertfordshire.

We believe in ‘being the best’ and we want the best to work with us, we are currently looking for a Telesales Manager to join us at our Head Office in Letchworth Garden City just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre.  To be successful in this position you must have the drive and passion to motivate and inspire the telesales team, being adaptable, capable and willing to achieve results.

Telesales Manager

Salary: £28,000-£32,000 OTE

Location: To cover Hertfordshire and West London

Hours:  Monday to Friday – between the hours of 8.30am and 7.00pm.

In this newly created role we are looking for an individual with the skills and experience to head up our busy telesales department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team on a day to day basis ensuring all targets are achieved whilst achieving maximum Customer satisfaction.

 The Role

  • Management and motivation of the telesales department staff
  • Provide and monitor performance figures, statistics and plans.
  • Promote the sale of accessories and service packages and to up sell on these products wherever possible
  • Contact all customers due for warranty recalls on the manufacturer databases and update relevant databases as applicable.
  • Ensure that the telesales process operates efficiently and to the highest possible standards, in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction and maximise workshop capacity
  • Report to senior management KPI’s and reports
  • To make bookings and handle any Customer complaints

Job Requirements


  • Previous experience in overseeing a telesales team
  • Motor trade experience preferred
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Driven to exceed set sales targets and KPI’s
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Exceptional interpersonal and team skills
  • Committed to delivering exceptional levels of customer service
